Background: Piandao lives on a castle near the town of Shu Jing. He's considered the greatest swordmaster in the Fire Nation, and his swords are legendary among weapon salesmen. He used to be in the Fire Nation Army, but defected after becoming bored with war.
Personality: A calm and enlightened man, he's a very capable fighter and a lover of the arts, including calligraphy and painting. He is not impressed by arrogance, and prefers his pupils to be humble and willing to learn. His teaching style covers many areas and is not limited to footwork or sword-handling.
