Powers: earthbending; a military strategist and conqueror
Background: A warlord from 370 years before, Chin attempted to conquer the entire Earth Kingdom and was opposed by Avatar Kyoshi. When Chin attempted to take her peninsula, she humiliated him and separated the peninsula from the mainland. Chin fell into the chasm to his death.
Personality: Chin was a horrible and ruthless tyrant. Out of his greed and lust for power, he attempted to bring all Earth Kingdom territory under his control; he would not let anyone, even Avatar Kyoshi, stand in his way as he seized lands and expanded his army. His arrogance and stubbornness caused his own death at her hand.
