Background: Ty Lee is a friend of Azula and Mai when they attended school at the Royal Fire Nation Academy for Girls. She pursued her dream to join a traveling circus and has been there until Azula commandeered her assistance in capturing Zuko and Iroh.

Personality: Extremely upbeat and cheerful, Ty Lee tries to better herself spiritually through exercises and meditation. Her outlook on life is perpetually rosy and she manages to follow her heart to where her best interests lie with a happy attitude. In battle, she is quick, precise, and methodical, which is why her skills make a unique addition to Azula's team.
